Better Cotton cotton is sourced using a supply chain model called the "mass balance system". "Mass balance" means that Better Cotton cotton is not physically identifiable in the final product, as it is replaced or mixed with conventional cotton in the supply chain.

At Pepco, we are committed to sourcing 25% of our cotton through the Better Cotton program by 2025, and we closed 2023 with 21%.

By investing in Better Cotton, we also help reduce water and pesticide consumption. It is estimated that in 2023, thanks to sourcing cotton through the Better Cotton program, 15,000 m3 of water were saved and 9031 kg of pesticides were used less!
